Recently, a dedication was held at the MD19 Office Memorial Gardens. Newly planted trees, plants, and benches were all purchased and placed in honour of Lions who have passed. The new waterfall was dedicated in honour of PID Burrell Hardan.

Our Zone Chair Steven Wong and our District Governor Grev Edgelow will be coming to our Oct 15th meeting. As usual we will be having our pot luck dinner in DG Grev's honour. It should be a great night.

Like any other Lions club we provide services in our community which includes Surrey as well as North Delta. We raise funds, then as a club decide which causes to support. They include individuals and families, and donations to other charity organizations.

If you are in the area, please feel free to visit us or call if you have any questions.

We are a service club that supports the communities of North Delta and Surrey. Our mottos is "We Serve" and do so by helping through service projects with youth and seniors, and donating to scholarship programs, and charitable causes such as Breast Cancer Research, CNIB, Diabetes Awareness, BC Society for Children with Disabilities, Lions Foundation of Canada, and many others.

We raise our funds through craft sales, food concessions, and gaming (Newton Country Bingo at King George Hwy and 70th)

Please feel free to come and visit with us. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at Kennedy House, 11760 88th Ave, North Delta. At 7:30 PM Unlike most clubs, our present membership is all female who are of a variety of ages who enjoy helping their community.
